A bit about us

Kait’s story

I’ve spent the last 14+ years working across product, strategy, and customer experience—mostly in fintech, payments, and financial services. I’ve worked inside big institutions (Visa, National Australia Bank, ANZ) and alongside forward-thinking companies (M-Pesa, Carrefour, Qatar Airways, ENBD, the list goes on…) helping teams shape new ideas, bring products to life, and scale with intention.

I’ve led cross-functional teams, launched digital products, built strategies from scratch, and navigated that tricky in-between space where things get messy—between traction and real growth.

What drives me is simple: it’s the feeling of building something that actually solves a real problem.

Something useful. Something people want to come back to.

I care deeply about the space between a good idea and a great outcome—where things can get unclear, overwhelming, or stuck. That’s where I like to work. Helping teams cut through the noise, get clear on what matters, and build with purpose.

For me, it’s never just about launching products. It’s about making them mean something—to the people who use them and the teams who build them.

Dimitri’s story

I care about the whole journey—how something works, what it feels like, and how it connects to people’s lives.

I’ve spent the last 15+ years at the crossroads of design, innovation, and storytelling—leading teams and helping businesses bring new ideas to life in ways that are not only functional, but meaningful.

Whether working for Fortune 500 global players like
Visa, and MasterCard, or for FTSE 100 companies like Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, I’ve helped shape end-to-end digital products, built design strategies that stick, and delivered experiences that balance creativity with commercial impact.

I helped teams from Etihad Airways, Vodapay, First National Bank, Alrajhi Bank and SberBank amongst others, co-create new digital products, rethink customer experiences, and scale with purpose.

I often think of my role as part designer, part translator, and part product psychologist—making sense of messy inputs, surfacing what really matters, and shaping solutions that resonate.

My background blends design with psychology in a quest to uncover how people think, decide, and engage.

That lens shows up everywhere in my work: in the way I frame problems, build customer journeys, and create space for teams to collaborate with more empathy and less noise.

At Yūgen, that’s what we’re here to do: partner closely with teams to build things that matter—clearly, creatively, and with impact.
